Portland, Oregon · On the Willamette

A member-owned moorage where the river is the front yard.

Macadam Bay is a tight-knit floating home community tucked along the west bank of the Willamette, just north of the Sellwood Bridge. Neighbors, sunsets, and the quiet pace of life on the water.

Life on a floating home

Real homes — kitchens, gardens, full-size bedrooms — built on stable floats and moored to shared walkways. Quiet mornings, big skies, and a view that changes every day.

Member-owned moorage

Macadam Bay is owned and run by its residents. An elected board handles governance, members vote on the big calls, and committees keep our docks in great shape.

A real community

Potlucks on the deck, kayak mornings, board meetings, dock-maintenance days, the annual Christmas Ships parade, Oaks Park fireworks from the water — there's always something.
